Go straight to a chapter
Try a query such as Shogun S1E1. If that chapter is in the catalog, the result opens the series guide at the matching episode. You can also open the show and choose a season directly. An impossible episode number will not produce an invented chapter.
Compare the name, not just the number
Split seasons and regional listings can use different numbering. An episode title and air date provide another way to recognize the same chapter. The latest-episode page uses recorded air dates, which are separate from when a particular viewing service added an episode.
Save a useful checkpoint
Choose the last episode you fully completed, then save. If you stopped halfway through the next one, keep the checkpoint at the earlier episode until you finish. This avoids returning one chapter too far ahead after a break.
Move or clear the reminder
Checkpoints appear in My List and can be included in its backup. Clear one when you restart a show or no longer need it. Clearing a checkpoint does not remove the series from the catalog or change playback history inside another service.
